Lištička K9 (CCOC)® – Caucasian Working Type Dog

Family breeding with love and tradition. Puppies are expected in September! Puppies! A new protector is waiting here.

Lištička K9 (CCOC)® is an active, professional family kennel with the longest history of breeding and training Caucasian dogs in the Czech Republic and currently the only active kennel focused exclusively on working dogs. It is a well-functioning team of people who always do their utmost to preserve the Caucasian dog as a working breed. It is also part of the rescue program for the working Caucasian dog of the Czech Caucasian Ovcharka Club K9 (CCOC) z. s.

► Caucasian Shepherd Dogs are bred exclusively in working types. The kennel has the most significant breeding experience with the breed in the Czech Republic and the most extensive training practice with Caucasian Shepherd Dogs in the world. It is the only active kennel in the Czech Republic focused solely on working dogs.

► Lištičky K9 dogs are suitable for the protection of people, animals and property, for service work and for sport. They are not intended to be kept as pets.

► The prerequisite for a dog’s performance is a functional exterior and a set of character traits. The aim is to preserve excellent protective and defensive qualities and, very importantly, to significantly increase the dogs’ controllability.

► The kennel is a specialist in the field, with extensive fifty-six years of cynological practice and with both secondary and university-level breeding education (specialization in Animal Breeding at agricultural secondary school and university).

► Lištičky dogs have been protecting the homes and property of their people since 1979. Tradition obliges – reliable, courteous, prompt and professional conduct can always be expected here.

► Qualified advice is provided right from the beginning, including the selection of a puppy – tailored precisely to specific conditions.

► High-quality puppies are offered across a wide range of price levels.

► Breeding is carried out only with dogs that have perfect movement, genuine (comprehensive) health, excellent working abilities, and a typical, functional exterior. Only in-house stud dogs are used for mating, dogs that are known in detail. Breeding pairs are put together with a clear purpose, and only natural mating is practiced.

► Puppy rearing is conducted at the highest quality level, with maximum emphasis on the puppies’ physical needs and the development of their psyche. The best character traits of each puppy are identified and nurtured.

► Puppies and dogs receive continuous care. The puppies are excellently socialized, accustomed even to small children and to cats.

► All puppies undergo temperament testing, as well as group and individually guided motivational training. At the time they leave, they have a solid foundation (Basic Training) at least for joyful recall, following the handler, and interrupting undesirable behavior. Basic Training is included in the price of the puppy, as is the instruction of the new owner on how to continue working with the puppy in order to maintain and deepen what has been learned.

► After weaning, part of the puppies’ time is spent in carefully assembled packs, under the educational influence of specially selected adult dogs with outstanding temperaments. From them, the puppies adopt ideal patterns of correct “Caucasian” behavior towards familiar and unfamiliar people, towards dogs of all age categories, towards their own territory, and towards the surrounding environment.

► On request, a puppy can be included in specific training that prepares selected puppies to a high degree for future working/sport use – Superior Training.

► At the time they leave, the puppies are fully acclimatized to the outdoor temperatures of the given season.

► The puppies are fed a raw diet (BARF), with supplements mainly from the brand Canina. (Feeding suitable kibble at the new home is of course possible; however, as part of acclimatization, at least one week of continued BARF feeding is recommended.)

► Puppies leave for their new homes after being dewormed and vaccinated multiple times according to their age, always in excellent mental and physical condition.

► At the same time as the puppy, a purchase contract is provided, completed with all legal requirements, which also includes a unique, above-standard health and quality guarantee. An invoice, the dog’s Pedigree Certificate, and the International Vaccination Certificate are also provided (if it is known that the dog will later accompany its owner on trips abroad, a pet passport can be requested immediately). The puppy will be vaccinated according to its age, dewormed multiple times, clinically examined 1–3 days before handover, microchipped, and registered in the Central Register of Dogs of the Czech Republic (from 1 July 2026).

► At the buyer’s request, it is possible over time to change the reservation from the selected puppy to another suitable, still unreserved puppy (even across different litters), up until the moment of direct handover of the puppy.

► The chosen puppy can also be collected at an older age (up to 6 months).

► On request, a comprehensive veterinary examination of the selected puppy’s health condition is arranged.

► On request, partial or complete equipment (gear, other supplies, nutritional supplements) for the selected puppy is arranged.

► A modern breeding facility is available, set in a clean natural environment, with extensive exercise areas and an adjoining training ground covering 1.5 ha (Liškárna K9, territory of Caucasian dogs).

► Puppies are exported worldwide. (The minimum legal age for transport abroad is 3 months and 22 days according to veterinary law.) Air transport is arranged exclusively through a company specializing in international animal transport, which is a member of the prestigious IPATA animal shippers association. It provides a complete transport service; the puppy is simply picked up at the chosen airport.

► All funds obtained from these activities are reinvested into breeding.

► Option of transporting the selected puppy directly to its new home

► Option to use the “Holiday at Liškárna” service

► A year-round competition with many years of tradition is announced for dogs bred here – Lištička K9 of the Year.

► Intensive specialized training in working and sport disciplines is offered – Fox Days, organized initially by this kennel and, since 2013, by the Czech Caucasian Ovcharka Club K9 (CCOC) z.s.

► Consultancy, individual training sessions, and group training are offered.

► Lištička K9 is registered with the State Veterinary Administration and has been assigned a breeding registration number.

► Lištička K9 (CCOC)® is a registered trademark with the Industrial Property Office.

► VAT payer.
